Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policy

Eligibility and request timeframe

To request cancellation or a refund, email info@netorbitgrid.digital with the booking name and consultation date. Requests should be made within 14 days of payment and before the service is fully performed. Statutory consumer withdrawal rights apply where relevant. If you expressly ask us to begin during a statutory withdrawal period, you may owe a proportionate amount for work completed before withdrawal.

Full refunds

A full refund is available when Netorbitgrid cancels and no acceptable replacement is agreed, when we decline the engagement before preparation begins, or when you cancel at least 48 hours before the appointment and no bespoke document review or written preparation has started. Duplicate payments are refunded in full.

Partial refunds

When preparation has begun, a refund may be reduced by the reasonable value of intake review, redacted-document review, calendar preparation, or written material already completed. If you cancel between 24 and 48 hours before the session, up to 50% of the consultation fee may be retained. We explain the calculation with the decision.

Non-refundable work

A completed consultation, delivered written roadmap, completed offer review, missed appointment without notice, and external cost specifically authorised for your engagement are non-refundable except where the service is defective or mandatory law provides otherwise. Purchased materials are unusual for this advisory service; none will be ordered without written approval, and approved non-recoverable costs cannot be refunded.

Rescheduling and no-shows

One reschedule is available without charge when requested at least 24 hours before the confirmed start. A later change may be treated as a cancellation because adviser time and preparation have been reserved. If you are more than 20 minutes late without contact, the appointment may be treated as a no-show. We will reschedule without charge when serious illness, transport disruption, or another documented exceptional event makes that fair.

Deposits and quoted work

Standard consultations are usually confirmed against the full fee. Tailored employer briefings or multi-party coordination may require a deposit stated in the estimate. Unless the estimate says otherwise, a deposit covers reserved time and initial preparation and is refundable only to the extent that work and committed costs have not consumed it.

Processing and method

We acknowledge refund requests within two business days and aim to decide them within five business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within five to ten business days after approval; the bank or payment provider may add processing time. We do not issue cash or redirect a refund to another person.

Service concerns and exceptions

If you believe agreed preparation or follow-up was missing, contact us within seven days so we can first correct the work or offer an appropriate partial or full refund. We consider exceptional circumstances individually and do not limit rights available under German consumer law. Authority delay, permit refusal, employer withdrawal, or a change in travel plans does not by itself make a properly delivered planning consultation refundable because those outcomes are outside our control.
